Hope Park Finding Us
By Foot
We are a 2 minute walk from the centre of town.
From Moot Hall in the heart of town take the road that runs directly to the right of The Old Keswickian chip shop, keep following the road until you see George Fisher’s outdoor shop.
Take a right turn here and the road will lead you down Lake Road and through a short subway, on leaving the subway you will be faced with the entrance to the park.
By Car
Lake Road and Lakeside Car Park is the closest car park and directly opposite the park. This car park can be very busy, particularly during the summer months.
Other car parks are available in the centre of town and the best value one is at Crosthwaite Road where you can park all day for just £3. This is roughly a 20 minute walk from Hope Park but you also get to walk through the beautiful Fitz Park on the way.
Another good value option is the car park at the Rugby Club which is just a 5 minute walk away from us, you can park here all day for just £4.
By Public Transport
The nearest Train Station on the West Coast Mainline is Penrith, 17 miles away from Keswick. The X5 bus service offers a frequent service between Keswick and Penrith every day.
The Bus Station in Keswick is at the Booths Supermarket, from here you can either walk through the town to reach us (see directions for arriving on foot above), or you can miss out the town and head straight down the road opposite Booths which will lead you directly to us
